Useful in Hawaiian food prep and flavor enhancing. Alae salt comes from the iron oxide derived from volcanic red clay on Kauai. Known for it's distinct reddish brick color and is used in traditional preparation of lomi lomi salmon, kalua pork and poke. This medium grain seasoning comes in a one pound bag.
